So you’ve somehow found my page. Hello and welcome!

Like many during the Covid years, I picked up a new hobby, or in my case, returned to a childhood one. After fumbling my way through writing 90,000 words of a story I’d been thinking of for fifteen years, I finally have a completed first draft. Now it’s time to make that draft into the best story it can be, and that is my mission.

I would love to share my story now, serialise it week to week and put it out in the world as of today, but I know it won’t be the best it can be if I rush and create self-imposed deadlines. In it’s current state it’s a mess of glue and tape and notes holding it together…. I also need to choose a pen name I’m happy with?

Due to other real-world responsibilities and commitments, I don’t have the time I would like to put it back together again to know when it will be ready. BRB I need to feed the cats.

So if I’m not actively sharing a story, what am I doing here?

Depending on how you found my little substack corner, you may already be aware of my story, what it is and who it’s about. For those people: I promise the story I will be sharing here is so much better.

Writing this story is a journey. Sometimes a stressful one. Sometimes an exciting one. Where do I share those moments and those wins with other likeminded people?

Buy Me A Book! (please)

I’m also reading books to sharpen my writing skills and I’m writing about what I think of those books here too. And if you want to donate so I can buy more books to read, you can donate on Ko-Fi! Click the button above to take you there.

Why is your publication obnoxiously bright?

I’m the one looking at it 99% of the time and it makes me happy. Make your page in a way that makes you happy 😘
