Monthly Writing Update #5
Almost thought I wasn't going to have an update this month but I do! Here's what I've been up to since last time...
Since I am silently writing over here on the side where no one but me can see, I decided to keep track of some writing goals, accomplishments and update type of things as I was went with the hope to see what I’ve actually done and maybe actually seeing my progress will help me see I am actually getting somewhere...
And I thought this might be some proof, that yes I am actually writing 😆

Actually took a few weeks off from writing my story and been kind of stressed about it like I’m letting it and me down (self-inflicted)
And by writing, I mean work on my actual story. I was roped into a writing prompt and collabing, my first fiction I’ve shared on Substack:
I’m Stuck in the Middle. You can tell due to the lower wordcount for Part 2. It needs some restructuring and fiddling because I feel like moments are rushed as scenes jump from A point to B point. There’s no breathing room to sit with those scenes and then build on the next
Most of my new chapters/scenes/lore I need to add goes in here…
This is where I’m going to have to go back to my outline and revise it because seeing the writing together in the flesh is different to how it works in an outline (why I can’t rely and stick to an outline)
Decided to skip this section and move on to Part 3 because I might as well work on something and not just stare at it
